You do not have to decide everything from one photograph. Use the wide view for space and arrangement, the front view for the focal point, and a close-up for color and texture.

01. The wide view — beyond the backdrop

The wide Hongmaehwa photograph shows a folding backdrop in front of a tall window and light-colored walls. White table coverings step down toward the front, with floral arrangements on both sides. Flowers and leaves spread across the backdrop, while the objects at the center and sides create different heights.

Look beyond the table itself: notice the space in front, the clear area above the backdrop and the light coming from the side. When considering your own venue, share the wall and window positions and the space you can use. Installation dimensions should be confirmed separately rather than estimated from a photograph.

02. The front view — finding the focal point

In the front view, the central cake sits between two mother-of-pearl tables and floral arrangements. Lower dishes and objects continue across the foreground. Gold-toned stands and red tassels add small accents to the light fabric and pink-and-ivory flowers.

Instead of only saying ‘like this photo,’ point out the detail that draws you in. You might prefer the light center, the height of the flowers or the texture of the tables. Individual arrangements can differ between photographs; confirm the inclusion of food, cake, flowers and props during consultation.

03. The close-up — a closer look at texture

The detail photograph brings together fruit on a gold-toned dish, reflective patterns on the mother-of-pearl table, and pink-and-ivory flowers in the foreground. What reads as a soft palette from a distance becomes a combination of distinct surfaces and colors up close.

If you are also choosing hanbok, compare its photograph alongside these details. Look at how the main outfit color relates to the flowers, fabric and decorative accents. Lighting and screens can change the appearance of colors, so confirm the details and available arrangement during consultation.
